eRx is ePIP Compliant
The Practice Incentives Program eHealth Incentive (ePIP) aims to support general practices activities that encourage continuing improvements in quality of care and health outcomes.
In order to meet the ePIP requirements practices must ensure they comply with the five requirements. Electronic Transfer of Prescriptions (ETP) is requirement 4 of ePIP and requires GP’s to be using a clinical software that allows them to send electronic prescriptions to a Prescription Exchange Service, such as eRx. Prescriptions can be sent to eRx using all of the leading medical software programs in Australia.
