eRx will be making changes to the SMS delivery service at 9pm AEDT on Tue 5th Dec. During the time of deployment there may be a delay of a few minutes in receiving an SMS. 

1) Please be advised that from Thursday 16th November 2023, if you are a prescriber not connected with eRx for Electronic Prescribing, you will be unable to generate electronic prescriptions. You will still be able to print paper prescriptions. Affected prescribers will need to immediately register for eRx using the 'Register NOW' button above and then contact your prescribing vendor  regarding activation.

Please note, due to the current increased volume of registrations there will be some delay in processing new eRx registrations and you may need to revert to paper prescriptions in the interim.

2) Additionally, eRx has become aware of an issue where a prescribing system is not correctly recording patient consent for their ePrescriptions for sending to the Active Script List. This is resulting in ePrescription items missing from patient's Active Script Lists. This is not an issue with the eRx Prescription Delivery Service. The impacted prescribing system is working to resolve the issue in the coming weeks.
