Communities of Interest for ePrescribing are being developed in a variety of locations around Australia.

Collaborating with the Department of Health as the ePrescriptions project lead, and the Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA); Prescription Delivery Services are working with conformant software vendors, prescribers and pharmacies to deliver end-to-end ePrescriptions in a controlled environment.

Feedback from participants will be shared and the learnings used to make technical improvements; inform the ePrescriptions Change and Adoption Program led by ADHA; and enhance the information, education and support provided by software vendors and the peak prescribing and community pharmacy bodies.

For further information please refer to the ADHA FAQ: Electronic prescribing – implementation via communities of interest.
